Looking for cheap flights to Reykjavik from Canada? You’ve come to the right place!

Magical, mysterious and absolutely stunning, Reykjavik is the popular and thriving capital of Iceland. If you love the great outdoors coupled with friendly people, amazing scenery and unique cuisine, then Reykjavik may well be exactly what you’re looking for.

Not only is there’s a huge amount on offer in the city itself, but once you venture further afield to the geysers and enchanting blue lakes and lagoons, you’ll never want to come back. If you go in winter (November to March) you may also be lucky enough to see the eerie green Northern Lights in the sky, called the “aurora borealis”, although you’ll need to wrap up warm as temperatures are unlikely to reach beyond just a few degrees centigrade. Tip: when trying to find the Northern Lights, the further out of the city you can get, the better, as there’s less light pollution. It’s strongly recommended you do a group tour though, or at least go with a guide, as the areas outside Reykjavik at night are extremely dark and there’s a good chance of getting lost.

During summer (around May to September) temperatures rise to their peak of a comfortable 20°C. This is when you can turn your attention to activities which are perhaps more pleasant in milder weather, such as a whale watching tour at Faxaflói Bay. There’s also no shortage of beautiful sea birds and fish too, so don’t forget to take lots of pictures! O,r if you don’t quite have your sea legs yet, why not take a fun and energetic horse ride through the breath-taking volcanic landscape, or visit the Gullfoss waterfall and Hallgrimskirkja Church. Then finish off by soaking your weary body in the fantastic naturally warm water of the Blue Lagoon.

When you’ve finished exploring, enjoy a hearty meal of fish and other Icelandic delicacies in Reykjavik’s Old Harbour in front of a live band. Then dance the night away at one of the local bars or vibrant nightclubs before sinking into bed for the best night’s sleep ever...

Whether you’re looking for somewhere unique and amazing to take your family or you’re a couple wanting somewhere totally different for your next vacation, Reykjavik has it all. So why not have a look at our full range of flights now, including first class and business class flights too.
