The Airport
Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
It’s only $3 to take the Toronto’s public transit system, the TTC, from the airport, but it may mean a long ride, with lots of transfers. The 192 Airport Rocket bus to Kipling station is the best bet for getting to the subway, while the 58A Malton bus will take you along Lawrence Avenue, through the northern part of Toronto, to Lawrence West subway station. Catch these, as well as other buses from Brampton Transit, Mississauga Transit and GO Transit (buses to points in and beyond the Greater Toronto Area), on the ground-floor level of Terminals 1 and 3.

Cost: $60 to downtown Toronto
Time: 30 minutes
Taxi fares to and from Pearson Airport are set by the zone you’re travelling to or from in the city, but figure about $50–$60 for downtown locations, and $75 to points east of downtown. Vehicles are plentiful and are available on the ground floor of Terminals 1 and 3.
UNION PEARSON EXPRESS
Cost: $24 to downtown Toronto
Time: 25 minutes
A rail link that connects passengers from the downtown core to Pearson Airport. Departures are every 15 minutes from Union Station, or Bloor and Weston GO stations. For adults and students, the cost is $12-24, for seniors $6-$12, while kids 12 and under are free. You can also buy a family ticket (two adults and up to three kids under 19) for $25.
